Painted by the pond at the bottom of the garden at Menwinnion, Aileen (with Silko, the cat), Nancy (reading) and the twins Tony and Gabriel. Laura Knight, when she was living at Lamorna (circa 1913), painted a very similar scene featuring "Lamorna" Birch and his children.
